Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-10-21
Welcome to MultiStore (the “Platform”), owned and operated by MultiStore. By using the Platform or creating an account on it, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
- Merchant: the person or entity that registers a shop on the Platform and uses its tools (point of sale, inventory, installments, online store).
- Customer: any person who purchases from a merchant's store, whether through the online store or in the shop.
- Subscription: the paid plan (monthly or annual) that entitles the merchant to use the Platform.
2. Account and Security
- The merchant undertakes to provide accurate information and keep it up to date, and is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and for all activity carried out through the merchant's account and the accounts of its staff.
- The account holder must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to manage the registered business.
- We reserve the right to suspend any account used for unlawful or fraudulent activity, or that harms the Platform or its users.
3. Trial Period and Subscriptions
- New shops receive a free trial period of 14 days with all features and no payment card required.
- Upon expiry of the subscription, a grace period of 3 days is granted, after which the account switches to “read-only” mode: your data remains preserved and accessible to you, but no new transactions can be added until renewal.
- Advertised prices are in Egyptian pounds (EGP). We may change them upon at least 30 days' prior notice to merchants; any change shall not apply to a subscription period that has already been paid.
- Payment is made through licensed payment gateways (such as Paymob and Fawry) or by such other means as the administration specifies. We do not store payment card details on our servers.
4. Merchant Responsibilities
- The merchant is solely responsible for its products, their prices, quality and legal compliance, and for the warranty, delivery, customer service and return policy of its shop.
- The merchant is responsible for the installment contracts it concludes with its customers, for verifying customers' identity and ability to pay, and for complying with the laws governing installment sales and consumer protection (Law No. 181 of 2018).
- Offering or selling products that are prohibited by law, counterfeit, or that infringe intellectual property rights is forbidden.
- When enabling electronic payment in its store, the merchant contracts directly with the payment gateway, and funds are credited to the merchant's account with that gateway; the Platform is not a party to these transactions.
5. Data and Ownership
- Your shop's data (products, customers, invoices, contracts) belongs to you. We process it on your behalf solely to provide the service, in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
- We perform daily backups and do not automatically delete the data of expired accounts. You may request a copy of your data or its deletion by contacting us.
- The Platform's trademark, design and software are the property of MultiStore and may not be copied or resold.
6. Service Availability and Limitation of Liability
- We use our best efforts to keep the Platform available around the clock; it may be interrupted for short periods for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control.
- The Platform is provided “as is”, and we accept no liability for lost profits or indirect damages. In all cases, our liability shall not exceed the amount of the last subscription paid by the merchant.
- Reports and calculations are assistive tools; the merchant remains responsible for reviewing its accounts and its tax obligations.
7. Termination
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may terminate or suspend an account in the event of a breach of these Terms, while allowing data to be exported within 30 days unless prohibited by law.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the Egyptian courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
